Without fighting for a year, due to the suspension imposed by the Nevada Athletic Commission for his doping episode, the former middleweight champion Anderson Silva will return to the Octagon more motivated than ever. According to his friend and training partner Lyoto Machida, Spider is “full of desire” to fight against Michael Bisping next Saturday (27), which makes him believe in a knockout for the Brazilian in the main fight of the UFC London.

“Anderson is full of desire, really wanting it. When it comes to preparation, he takes it very seriously, he doesn't fool around in training, he dedicates himself with body and soul. And when he enters this phase, he is dangerous for any opponent. This is a fight that Anderson has a much better chance of winning than his opponent. I'll stick with Anderson: I think he'll win by knockout. I think it's very difficult for Bisping to knock him out, in fact, I think it's difficult for Bisping to win, no matter what. In all aspects, Anderson is ahead of him”, said Lyoto, on the “Combate” channel website.

Lyoto also commented on the possible effects of the hiatus on Spider's performance, and ruled out greater losses due to the year off. “Anderson will not feel time standing still; He's a very experienced guy. He may even feel a little lack of rhythm, but nothing that will affect his performance. We met, we did some training, he is confident”, he assured.

Anderson steps into the octagon next Saturday (27), in London (England), against Michael Bisping. Already Lyoto Machida, returns to cage in April, at UFC Fight Night Tampa, against the veteran Dan Henderson.
