According to the publication, Globo management was contacted and confirmed that the attraction is closed. “There is no forecast for the airing of a new season of TUF on Globo. TUF Brasil's last hope now lies on closed TV, as the attraction could still migrate to the SporTV or Combate channels, both from Globosat (the cable TV arm of Rede Globo), and which currently show UFC content on their respective channels. grids.
The change in the partnership between Globo and UFC for the exhibition of TUF, however, does not affect the agreement between the parties for the broadcast of the organization's events on open TV in Brazil, which continues to be delayed by 30 minutes in the case of cards in pay-per-view. TUF Brasil debuted on Globo in 2012, with the season led by Vitor belfort e Wanderlei Silva, being a great success and obtaining excellent audience ratings.
