After the real battle fought in the main fight of UFC-117 (remember here), the American Chael Sonnen will be entitled to a rematch against the Brazilian Anderson Silva. The second confrontation does not yet have a set date, but the information was confirmed by the president of Ultimate, Dana White, to the American ESPN:
“It’s definitely a rematch that people will want to see,” said Dana White.
In the first duel, Sonnen dominated the fight during four rounds, using his wrestling to control the fight and win by decision of the judges. However, in the fifth and final round, with just two minutes remaining, Anderson landed a tight triangle choke and finished the fight. Now the Brazilian, who is recovering from a rib injury, will put his belt on the line again in 2011.
