One day after being confirmed at Bellator, former UFC champion Benson Henderson already had his first fight in his new home official. And it's already a real quarry: your opponent will be Andrei Koreshkov for the organization's welterweight belt.
The fight will take place on April 22, in Uncasville, Connecticut (USA), at Bellator 153. As much as he has had success in his career in the lightweight division, 7 kg below, including UFC and WEC titles, Henderson has made his two most recent fights in Ultimate at welterweight, winning Brandon thatch e Jorge masvidal.
Koreshkov, 25, has 18 wins in professional MMA, with just one loss, to former champion Ben Askren. In his most recent fight, he defeated Douglas lima to win the Bellator title.
