The main attraction of the second day of Rizin FF, an event that has been known as “New PRIDE”, is, without a shadow of a doubt, the return of the legendary heavyweight Fedor Emelianenko. However, a (poorly) staged fight between super heavyweights Akebono Taro and Bob Sapp ended up stealing the show at the event's weigh-in, held this Wednesday (30), in Japan.

After a tense look, Sapp took off his shirt and threw it at his rival. Akebono then also took off his shirt (seemingly for no reason, as he did not return the attack). However, the sumo wrestler attacked Sapp and pushed his opponent. The two were finally “restrained” by event officials, all of whom were at least 30 cm shorter than the fighters. The scene was completed by the hysterical, and disproportionate, reaction of the ring girls in the background, extremely excited about the “confusion”.

At the weigh-in for the most important fight of the night, between Fedor Emelianenko and Indian Jaideep Singh, what caught attention was the height difference between the rivals. Fedor, who is famously a small heavyweight, has become even smaller compared to Singh, who is 1,96'XNUMX". In the face-off, as usual, the Russian maintained his usual coolness and did not show a single reaction to his opponent.
