Daniel sarafian his return to the octagon is scheduled for February 21st, in Pittsburgh (USA), at UFC Fight Night 82, when he would face the North American Sam alvey. The Brazilian's opponent, however, is expected to change in the coming days, as Alvey was injured during training and is out of the event.
According to the North American website “MMA Latest”, Alvey suffered a spinning kick to the face during a training session. sparring and fractured his jaw, which will make it impossible for him to perform at the event in two months. The Ultimate organization has not yet officially named the replacement for “Smiley”, as the American is known.
Daniel sarafian, 33 years old, has a professional record of nine wins and five losses. The finalist of the first edition of TUF Brasil (but who did not compete in the big decision due to being injured), is coming off a victory over compatriot Junior Alpha at UFC 190, held last August, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
