The “Phenomenon” is back on the winning track. In the early hours of this Sunday (8), in the main fight of UFC Fight Night 77, in São Paulo, Vitor belfort knocked out again Dan Henderson still in the first round and completed the celebration of the Brazilian fans present at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium.

It can be said that patience and precision were Belfort's main characteristics during the little more than two minutes of combat. The Brazilian started the fight cautiously, waiting for the right moment to attack Henderson. The American, on the other hand, attacked in a timid manner, with low kicks to Belfort's legs.
When the crowd began to show impatience, Belfort unleashed his first blow two minutes into the fight: a high kick aimed at Henderson's head, which he felt. The American veteran lost his balance and only kept from falling thanks to the support of the fence.
Belfort then felt the opportunity and went all out. Henderson, already on the ground, tried to “mess up” with the Brazilian, but the “Phenomenon” continued to attack. One of the blows hit Henderson's chin, who for an instant showed that he was unable to defend himself. That was the cue for the referee, Mario Yamasaki, to stop the fight, giving Belfort the victory 2min07s into the opening round.
Thus, Belfort closes the trilogy against Henderson with two victories against one defeat. It was precisely against the North American that Vitor had won his last fight, in November 2013. Henderson, in turn, suffered yet another defeat, reaching his third defeat in the last four fights.
