North American website reveals identity of Fedor's opponent

According to 'MMA Fighting', the Russian will face Singh Jaideep in an event, which should be called Samurai FC

The North American website “MMA Fighting” released more information about the event that will mark the return of Fedor Emelianenko to the fights, including the possible identity of the Russian's opponent. According to the report, Emelianenko is expected to face Indian Singh Jaideep, a kickboxing veteran with just one fight in professional MMA.

Jaideep, 28 years old, has a record of 40 wins, ten losses and one no-contest in stand-up fighting, including a victory over Sergei Kharitonov. In mixed martial arts, he beat unknown Alireza Tavak by technical knockout at an event in Mumbai, India.

According to the publication, the fight will be made official this Thursday (8), at a press conference in which other details of the attraction will be given. In total, three events should be held, between December 29th and 31st, all at the Saitama Super Arena gym, in Japan.

The first event is expected to feature a catchweight bout between Shinya Aoki and veteran Kazushi Sakuraba. Furthermore, the name of the new organization, led by Nobuyuki Sakakibara, former president of PRIDE, will probably be Samurai FC, which, according to the report, is not yet 100% finalized.
