Machida plans fight against Bisping in early 2016

The Brazilian is coming from a difficult time in his career, with two resounding defeats to Rockhold and Romero

Lyoto Machida has already started making plans for his return to the UFC. According to the organization's official program on North American TV, “UFC Tonight”, the Brazilian wants to return to the Octagon at the beginning of next year, even with his ideal opponent in mind.

According to the program, Machida would like to face the veteran Michael Bisping, currently ranked eighth in the UFC middleweight category. The Englishman already has a fight scheduled in Ultimate, in November, when he faces Robert whittaker in Australia.

Former UFC light heavyweight champion, Machida is going through a difficult time in his career. At 37 years old, the “Dragon” comes from two resounding defeats, to Luke Rockhold, in April, and Yoel romero, in June. His last victory was in December 2013, when he knocked out CB Dollaway in Barueri.
