The doping case involving Nick Diaz and its controversial outcome is truly mobilizing the MMA community. The American, who ended up suspended for five years for being caught with marijuana in the fight against Anderson Silva, in January, received the support of many people, such as former champion Tim Sylvia, Kenny Florian, Gina Carano and even the champion Ronda Rousey. Who also joined “Team Diaz” was the flyweight Henry Cejudo.

Olympic gold medalist in wrestling and main promise in the 57 kg division, Cejudo will no longer fight under the supervision of the organization, which includes Las Vegas (USA). This was confirmed by her manager, Bill McFarlane, who sent a long statement to the “MMA Fighting” website disapproving the organization’s attitudes.
“I am absolutely shocked at the way the commission handled the case Nick Diaz. I think it was an abuse of power disguised as authority. I sincerely hope the UFC addresses this issue. If not publicly, then privately. It's a very unfortunate thing, but I feel it's prudent to let the UFC know that Henry Cejudo won't fight in Nevada. I have no confidence that the Nevada Commission can administer an examination process that is fair and reliable, or that it will act in a fair and non-biased manner,” the businessman wrote.
Undefeated in professional MMA, Cejudo is on the rise in the UFC flyweight division, with two wins in a row. On November 21st, he will face the Brazilian Jussier formiga, in Monterrey, Mexico.
