Recently the atmosphere became tense again between José Aldo e Conor McGregor, who will fight for the UFC featherweight title in December. The two fighters clashed a lot at a press conference held at the beginning of the month, which increased expectations for the duel. However, Aldo's main coach, Dedé Pederneiras, guarantees that his pupil is very focused and concentrated to dispatch the opponent once and for all.

According to the leader of the Nova União academy, Aldo usually performs well when provoked by his opponents, and he sees no reason why this would be different with McGregor. “Aldo has a very good mind, at the time of the fight it won't make any difference what they say. He's going to hit McGregor everywhere he can – and with a lot of desire. It doesn't matter what happens to McGregor. If he was expecting a Cinderella dream when he got the belt, he might have realized that this is the real world and the beating will come the day the fight happens. That’s it”, said Pederneiras, in an interview with the official UFC website in Brazil.
