Sertanejo earns “Performance of the Night” bonus at UFC FN 74

The premiere of Felipe Sertanejo at bantamweight it couldn't have been better. After submitting Yves Jabouin in the first round, the Brazilian also received a check for US$50 (R$177 at the current rate), a prize for being one of those awarded the “Performance of the Night” bonus at UFC Fight Night 74.

In addition to Sertanejo, the other fighter awarded a bonus for his performance was Frankie Perez. The 26-year-old North American surprised everyone by announcing his retirement from MMA while still in the octagon after his knockout in less than a minute over Sam stout.

Concluding the awards at UFC Fight Night 74, held in Saskatoon (Canada), the “Fight of the Night” award was given to Patrick Côté and Josh Burkman, who led a battle of ups and downs won by the home athlete. For their exciting fight, the two also took home R$177 each.
