With an eye on winning over the female audience once and for all, a fighting event will bring something new in its first edition, on August 30th. The Fight Festival of the Central Única das Favelas (Cufa) in Rio de Janeiro has opened vacancies to hire a “ring boy”, who will have the role of announcing the rounds during fight breaks.

To be able to compete for the position, the participant must be over 18 years old, be a resident of the favela and send, by Friday (21), photos of their face and body to the organization's email (details below). The choice will be made next Monday, at 20 pm, in a ceremony at Cufa headquarters.

The chosen one will share the roles with the two “ring girls” already selected to participate in the event, which are Anna Carolina, 20 years old and resident of Complexo do Alemão, and Evellin Bernardo, 22, from Terreirão.

The fighting event will be held on August 30th, at the Cufa Sports and Cultural Center, in Madureira. Among the highlights will be amateur boxing, jiu-jitsu and muay thai fights, plus eight professional MMA duels. The presence of the twin brothers is confirmed Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro, who will attend the event.
