Hidehiko Yoshida could be Fedor's opponent in the M-1 Global debut in Japan. According to the Japanese website Sportsnavi, there are good chances of the judoka being selected against the Russian.
If chosen, Yoshida will make his only appearance in 2007 on the last day of the year. The Japanese idol, who has already faced and was defeated by Wanderlei Silva twice, he hasn't fought since December 31, 2006, when he ended up losing by technical knockout to Englishman James Thompson at Pride Shockwave.
