Max Fight 15 shook up the peaceful town of Ilha Comprida, located on the coast of São Paulo, on Saturday night (04). Around 1.500 spectators saw featherweight Bruno Beirute beat Vitor Toffanelli in the main fight of the event and win the belt in the 66 kg category. The fight program also featured the debut of Charles do Bronx's brother, Hermison Oliveira, with a lightning victory and yet another triumph of promise Felipe Cabocão.

In the most anticipated fight of the event, Bruno Beirute had a balanced duel against Vitor Toffanelli. The fight, valid for the organization's featherweight (66kg) belt, began with the dominance of Toffanelli who delivered good sequences in the first round, including a round kick that almost put an end to the duel. More connected when he returned to the second round, Bruno entered the fight and set his own pace, mixing strong punches and kicks with good and successful takedown attempts. This is how the fight went on until the fifth and final round, when Vitor tried to give his last shot in search of the title. Even with a lot of effort and good ground and pound work, the effort was insufficient and Beirut became champion via unanimous decision by the referees.
Luan Chagas submits Julio Cesar “Merenda”
In the second most anticipated fight of Max Fight 15, Luan Chagas and Julio Cesar “Merenda” entered the cage ready to put on a real show. After a start of much study and some unsuccessfully exchanged blows, Luan Chagas took the initiative in the fight and attacked his opponent. Withstanding the pressure well, Merenda also achieved good moments until the end of the first round. After receiving important instructions from the corners, Chagas returned for the second round with the intention of ending the fight, and that was what happened. After applying hard blows in the stand-up fight, the fighter also showed that he has a refined ground game by defeating his tough opponent with an armbar.
Promise from Team Nogueira, Cabocão maintains unbeaten record
In one of the most electrifying fights of the night, Felipe Cabocão and Clésio Caveirinha put on an excellent fight. Betting on striking, they provided great emotions to the public of Ilha Comprida (SP). After two rounds of many alternatives in the stand-up fight, Cabocão took advantage of his best form in the ground fight and applied a rear-naked choke to his opponent with eight seconds to go in the second round. With the result, he reached his fifth victory in professional MMA.
Brother of Charles do Bronx's, debuts at Max Fight with lightning victory
Brother of Charles of the Bronx's, one of the biggest Brazilian names within the UFC, Hermison Oliveira proved that fighting blood is in the family's DNA. Showing speed in the ground fight, Oliveira applied a triangle in the first moments of the fight and, with his position well adjusted, managed to land strong elbows on Carlos Eduardo Bahia, putting an end to the fight 27 seconds into the first round.
