Again Anderson Silva asked for his trial on his doping case to be postponed. The Brazilian, caught in two different tests at the time of his fight against Nick Diaz, in January, will now present himself to the Nevada Athletic Commission on August 7th.

The confirmation was given by the entity itself on the “Combate” channel website. In May and March, “Spider” asked for the trial of his case to be postponed so that he could prepare his defense more carefully. However, even if he is actually tried in August, Anderson will not be subject to the new punishments to be applied by the commission, as his doping case predates that.
The Brazilian was caught in two different exams, one before and one on the day of his fight against Nick Diaz, at UFC 183. The former champion had some different substances detected in his body, including anabolic steroids and anxiolytics.
