According to a document presented by the regulatory body during its monthly meeting this Tuesday (17), Anderson tested positive for drostanolone also after the fight. The substance is one of the anabolic steroids found in the Brazilian's body in the surprise test carried out on January 9th. The document was released by journalist Ana Hissa, from the “Combate” channel website, through her profile on Twitter.

To make matters worse for the Brazilian, two new drugs were also identified in his tests. These are two benzodiazepines, a group of anxiolytics: Oxazepam and Temazepam, medicines generally used to combat insomnia and sleep disorders.

With confirmation of the second result. Anderson Silva has two positive results for illegal substances in three tests carried out for UFC 183. In the first of them, carried out on January 9, Anderson showed traces of drostanolone and androsterone. In the second examination, carried out on January 19th, Spider did not present any illegal substances.

The first hearing on the doping case Anderson Silva takes place this Tuesday (17) and a final judgment for the case should be held in March or April. It is expected that the result of the fight between Anderson and Nick Diaz, who tested positive for marijuana after the fight, be reverted to a No Contest (fight without result) and Spider receives a suspension of at least nine months.
