UFC president Dana White did not hide his disappointment with the doping of Anderson Silva, caught in the use of anabolic steroids drostanolone and androsterone. After UFC Fight Night 60, held in the early hours of this Sunday (15), in Colorado, the manager says he is a fan of Spider and promised, without giving further details, that 'a lot of bad things are going to happen'.

“This situation devastated me for a few days. I was a big fan of Anderson Silva, but let's wait for the press conference Wednesday in Las Vegas. I can only say that a lot of bad things are going to happen”, warned Dana, who didn’t stop there.

“We’re not going to talk about fun things, we’re going to talk about what’s been happening recently, what we’re going to do and what’s going to happen from now on,” he added.

The press conference scheduled by the UFC takes place one day after the first hearing of Anderson Silva at the Nevada Athletic Commission, the entity responsible for judging the Brazilian's doping. The entity promises strict measures to combat doping within the event.

In addition to the test carried out on January 9, in which the presence of steroids was found, Anderson underwent two more tests. On the 19th of the same month, nothing illegal was diagnosed. After the fight against Nick Diaz, at UFC 13, on February 1st, despite it not being official yet, some vehicles guarantee that the Spider was also caught in this exam.

If the Brazilian's doping is confirmed, he could face a nine-month suspension if he confesses to using illegal substances. However, the hook can take up to two years away from competition.
