UFC 183, held last Saturday (31) in Las Vegas, in the United States, marked the return of Anderson Silva to fights after a long period away due to injury. Even so, the Brazilian, former middleweight champion, managed to win against Nick Diaz in the unanimous decision of the judges.

The night was victorious for the legion of Brazilians who attended the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Thiago Pitbull, Thales leites, John Lineker, Rafael Sapo, Ildemar Marajó and Thiago Marreta came away with victory, with the only setback being from Rick Monster – for obvious reasons, as he participated in the Brazilian duel with Marajó.
