After the bombastic announcement that Jon Jones was caught in a surprise doping test for cocaine use and admitted himself to a rehabilitation clinic, until the common announcement of medical suspensions for UFC 182, in which the champion faced Daniel Cormier, gains prominence. Mainly because Jones, for no apparent reason, does not appear in the relationship.

Jones' absence from the list of medical suspensions further increases expectations for the release of the event's anti-doping tests. Because, unlike the surprise test in which he was caught in December, which did not result in any punishment as the substance is not banned outside the competition period, a positive result in the test carried out after last Saturday's fight (03) could culminate changing the result of the fight into a “No Contest” (fight without result) and a long disciplinary suspension for the champion.

When it comes to the medical suspensions released by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NSAC), the most surprising result is from the Russian Omari Akhmedov, who needs to undergo tests until January 2016, under suspicion of an arachnoid cyst. In addition to him, four other fighters received a preliminary six-month layoff, which can be reversed if they are cleared by a doctor.
