After many months of provocations, criticism and even a fight during a press conference, Jon Jones e Daniel Cormier They will finally have the opportunity to resolve their differences inside the octagon in the first major event of 2015, UFC 182, which will be held this Saturday (3), in Las Vegas (USA).

The challenger for the light heavyweight belt, who will also try to maintain his undefeated record in MMA, used a different analogy to show his vision of the fight. “It will be like a court session: I will be the judge and he will have to defend everything he said,” said Cormier, during open training sessions for the event.

“I love this sport because, at the end of the day, they will lock us inside the octagon and we will have to resolve this situation. So, he can make fun of the fourth place I had in the Olympics, he can make fun of my body, he can make fun of everything. Ultimately, on Saturday night, he will have to share the cage with me for 25 minutes. That’s the ultimate test,” continued DC.

With wrestling as his main strength, Cormier hopes that Jones doesn't shy away from grappling during the fight. “I want him to try wrestling with me. It would be amazing. I want to fight him in all areas. His confidence in himself is what makes him so great, and I don't want that to change. I'm glad he has confidence in himself. What if he leaves me? It doesn't matter. I'm just going to get up. That's the secret. I'm not here saying 'I'll never get knocked down in an MMA fight'. I will fight against all attempts to break me, but if someone knocks me down, I will get up. No big deal,” he concluded.
