Rival coaches on TUF Latin America and opponents for the heavyweight belt in November, Fabricio Werdum e Cain Velazquez fought the first battle of UFC 180 in an unusual field: the toy known as “table boxing”. While participating in a Mexican TV program, the duo faced each other in a game and the Brazilian ended up getting the worst of it.
Velasquez and Werdum were guests on the program “Titulares y más”, on the Mexican channel “Telemundo”, and at the end of their participation in the attraction, they were invited to take part in a best-of-five duel in “table boxing” (similar to the old game “Knockout”, famous in the 80s and 90s). In five quick contests, the American of Mexican descent came out on top in three of them, against just two from the Brazilian.
