Responding to 32 charges, War Machine could face life in prison in the US

The fighter had new charges included by the prosecutor and is expected to go to trial on October 17th

The attack carried out by MMA fighter War Machine against his ex-girlfriend, pornographic film actress Christy Mack, could have serious consequences. According to the North American newspaper “Las Vegas Review”, the fighter had 23 new charges added to his case and, if convicted, he could face a life sentence.

A week after the attack, War Machine is captured

Last month, War Machine seriously assaulted Christy Mack and a friend at the actress' home. After a period on the run, the fighter was captured and taken back to Las Vegas, where the attacks took place. This Wednesday (3), the fighter appeared in court for the first time.

Initially, War Machine would face nine charges in court, but prosecutors added items such as attempted murder, sexual violence, assault, coercion, persuading a victim not to report a crime, in addition to first-degree kidnapping resulting in bodily harm, totaling 32 charges.
