Known in the MMA world for his provocative style and punctual shots, Michael Bisping can be called “Chael Sonnen in British version”. Coincidence or not, the North American was one of Bisping's three recent targets, who decided to question the fairness of the use of performance-enhancing drugs and also attack Vitor belfort e Wanderlei Silva – who alongside Sonnen were responsible for three of their last four defeats.

“I’m disgusted by people who dope. I know that all three (Belfort, Wand and Sonnen) doped. Chael did and admitted it. Vitor and Wanderlei, no. Maybe I should have insisted on blood tests being done during training periods. But at least something was done. I have never done anything wrong in my entire life. Today I was the first to arrive at the gym. He was already making gauntlets while the others were talking about last night's dinner. What happens is that I finish my training and everything else is still halfway through the program. I do things the way they should be done, I train myself to death,” said the Englishman, in an interview with the “MMA Junkie” website.

According to Bisping, the intensification of blood tests has inhibited some cases of doping, as athletes would know how to cheat urine tests. “None of the three were clean at all when they faced me. Blood tests are just starting to be done. People have been using growth hormone and EPO and all that shit for years. Urine tests only show a few substances, and those who dope know how to circumvent the test. It's a kind of IQ test. The blood tests that are carried out now will catch more people, because they can detect more substances,” he said.

Among the accused trio, Bisping chose a preferred target: Vitor belfort. The Brit insisted that the “Phenomenon” obtained good results due to Testosterone Replacement Treatment (TRT) and confirmed the Brazilian's decline after the ban on the therapy. “Vitor will not be the same. You can already see that your physique is considerably different. It's obvious that he's been clean since the current tests began six or seven months ago. It will be interesting to see what he looks like at the UFC 181 weigh-ins and compare his physique to what he had before. The guy looked like he was going to compete in a bodybuilding contest,” he said.

At 35, Michael Bisping has a professional record of 24 wins and six losses. In 2010, in Australia, Bisping was surpassed by Wanderlei Silva in a unanimous decision by the judges. Two years later, in the second edition of UFC on FOX, the Englishman suffered another setback via unanimous decision, this time to Chael Sonnen. In January 2013, in São Paulo (SP), it was the turn of Vitor belfort beat the TUF 3 champion by knockout, with a high kick in the first round. The Brit returns to the Octagon on August 23rd, against Cung le, in the main event of UFC Fight Night 48.
