According to the North American website MMA Junkie, Wanderlei Silva was summoned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) to attend the hearing that will be held next week, on June 17th. On this occasion, the Brazilian will be able to clarify the episode in which he refused to take a surprise anti-doping test at his gym, located in the city of Las Vegas (USA).

NSAC director Francisco Aguilar called on the fighter to attend the meeting, although he has not yet received confirmation from Wanderlei. Despite this, regardless of whether the fighter appears, the commission will debate the case and discuss any type of action that can be taken regarding the Brazilian's future. In addition to Wanderlei, the employee responsible for collecting data during the surprise exam, at the end of May, was also summoned to the hearing.

The hearing on June 17th will be fundamental for the UFC 175 fight order. In addition to the evaluation of the case involving Wanderlei, Vitor belfort will also attend to provide clarifications regarding the irregular anti-doping test that he presented in February. Chael Sonnen, another caught in the surprise exam, has not yet had his official participation in the hearing.
