Days after the setback against Matt Brown at UFC Fight Night 40, last Saturday (10), Erick silva and his team are still trying to understand the reasons that led the fighter to quickly lose resistance in combat, and consequently be defeated. Through your official profile on Instagram, Rogério Camões, physical trainer and one of the gym leaders X-Gym, presented his version. According to Camões, Erick had made adequate cardiovascular preparation, but the adrenaline consumed his energy in the fight.

“We all wanted the Erick silva I would have won, but that's how fighting is. Not everything always comes out 100%. Erick completed all the training in a professional and efficient manner. As for physical preparation and gas, he was doing very well, and rest assured: he did a lot of cardio. In my opinion, after reflecting a lot, the adrenaline consumed his energy quickly. And that could happen, because I was surprised when I saw him tired at the end of the first round. During specific training sessions sparring, he completed the five rounds within the standard. We are returning home, we will analyze all things calmly and do whatever is necessary to make him come back better. The important thing is that he is well, healthy enough to continue doing what he likes. We will criticize to build, but we cannot judge without having actively participated in the training. The moment is to encourage, after all, Erick fought hard, with heart and endured what many could not endure for even a second. He will come back and turn things around”, said Rogério.
