In a teammate fight, Vitor miranda, from the team Chael Sonnen, defeated Antonio Montanha, from the team of Wanderlei Silva, and qualified for the semi-finals of TUF Brazil 3 among heavyweights. Combat between friends chosen by Wanderlei Silva generated new controversy on the program. Vinny Pezão, Sonnen's assistant coach, even called his rival a 'false moralist'.
The program
The eighth episode of TUF began with controversy right at the start of the fight. With the right to choose, Wanderlei Silva selected Antonio Montanha to represent your team, while Vitor miranda was chosen to represent the team led by Chael Sonnen. However, the heavyweights are training partners at Team Nogueira and did not hide their discomfort with the fight.
“At the gym we joked that we were going to fight, but when we get here the atmosphere gets weird,” said Vitor. Vinny Pezão, assistant coach of Sonnen's team, spared no criticism of his rival.

The fight

After the fight, emotion took over the fighters. Friends, the fighters left the fighting area hugging each other and cried at the wedding of the fight. “It was very sad. I cried for him, but I did it for my family and it’s better to cry for him than to cry for myself”, said Miranda.
With the victory, the team Chael Sonnen wins the second in a row in reality and reduces the rival team's advantage to 4×2. In the next program, the middleweights Ismael Marmota e Warlley alves they duel for the last spot in the middleweight semifinals.
