Highlight of light weights (up to 70,3kg.), Charles of the Bronx already challenged Conor McGregor after his victories in the UFC, but the fight was negotiated by the organization. In a question and answer session with fans in Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian accused the Irishman of avoiding a clash with the organization, as he knows that, in his view, he would be easily defeated.

“McGregor chickened out a long time ago. He handpicks his fights. I think he looks at the guy and thinks 'I can win this', and then he signs the contract. He’s right not to fight me because he knows what’s going to happen,” he fired back from the Bronx.

McGregor, on the other hand, has focused his energies on recording the film 'Matador de Aluguel' and has not yet returned to the USADA testing program. The Irishman is rumored to be the new coach of 'The Ultimate Fighter', while he has already recovered from a fracture suffered in the trilogy against Dustin poirier, in July 2021.
