If the subject of TUF Brasil 3 is the fight between Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen, already anticipated even before the premiere of the reality show, which took place this Sunday (09), viewers can prepare themselves because the incident was not unique. According to Sonnen himself, working with Wand during the recordings was very difficult and there were several conflicts, although the situation in which they ended the fight gained more notoriety.

“As well as that incident with Wanderlei (the fight shown in the promotional video), there were many other incidents. One of them attracted more attention than the others. The guy required a huge effort to work together on a daily basis. We have a real treasure chest of sh*t in this program”, said Chael, in an interview with the North American website “MMA Fighting”.

Sonnen took the opportunity to once again provoke the Brazilian's history in the UFC, saying that he has one of the worst records in the history of the organization, but he ended up getting the information wrong. “Wanderlei’s record is the worst in the history of the UFC, not only in Zuffa (company that has run the event since 2001), but including the time of SEG (former owner) as well. He currently has five wins and eight losses, this is his record (Actually there are five wins and seven losses). He's won his last two fights (actually two wins in his last three fights), so that means he's already had three wins and eight losses. There has never been a more terrible guy in the UFC,” he fired.

Furthermore, the loudmouth returned to talking about the PRIDE days and calling the fights held at the Japanese event, of which Wanderlei was champion between 2001 and 2004, a farce. “I thought he looked really good in the last fight and he's a dangerous guy. I'm not belittling him. But he fooled people in Japan with that bullshit hoax. I will expose your true story in competitions whenever I can. I exposed him many years ago for those fights in Japan being a hoax. Those referees were wearing hearing aids, they look like Earl Hebner and his twin brother (two renowned football referees) pro wrestling – or telecatch). Those fights weren't real. I had teammates who told me that the promoter would come in with $10 in cash and tell you how the fight would happen. After I exposed him, I received support from (Gary) Goodridge, (Mark) Coleman and (Don) Frye, saying 'Chael is right,'” he concluded.
