After beating Kleber Koike in the 'Bellator x Rizin' challenge, the Brazilian Patricio pitbull revealed that he has ambitious plans for his future as a professional. The featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) of the organization chaired by Scott Coker emphasized his desire to remain active in 2023 and said he is eyeing two other belts for his vast gallery of successful careers.

“I wanted to fight at least until April. We have to seize the moment and work. There are fighters who like to spend half the year without fighting, but I like being in action. Champion is made of rhythm and I understand that. We need to be there prepared to fight for titles and break records. Now I would like to have the chance to fight for the Rizin (featherweight) title and also in the Bellator bantamweight (up to 61,2kg). The trainer of Sergio Pettis (bantamweight champion) has already spoken out and called for the fight on social media. I also want to defend the featherweight title at least twice,” said Pitbull.
The dominant victory over Kleber Koike proved that defeat to A. J. McKee, in July 2021, was just an 'outlier' in Patricio's career. In his last 11 fights, Pitbull emerged victorious on 10 occasions and has a record of 35 triumphs and five setbacks as a professional in the sport.
