Bellator star, AJ Mckee decided to put on a show on his way to the ring and prepared, literally, for a battle against Brazilian Roberto 'Satoshi'. The North American revealed that he invested US$100 (around R$545) in the samurai armor he used in his pre-fight and that it was worth it even though it was a high price.

“I did a lot of research for this and it cost me a lot of money. I spent a lot of money, but I wasn't too worried. I spent 100 thousand dollars. I found it online, just looking for different samurai things, Katana and stuff. They told me, 'Dude, you can't get a Katana. To get one, you have to register it with the police. 'You won't make it, but you might find some armor.' I wanted armor. I prepared for battle and thought it would be something I could relate to in their culture. I went to Japan and wanted to go all out. The other costumes I saw didn't give me that battle-ready feeling like a samurai outfit. It was definitely worth it. The guy told me that the only other person who bought a suit like that was a king. It was incredible!”, the fighter told 'MMA Fighting'.
