After controversial victory, Ben Henderson falls in the UFC pound-for-pound ranking

A victory certainly always brings benefits to the athlete who wins it. However, in certain circumstances, this concept ends up being relativized. After the controversial triumph over Josh thomson in the main fight of UFC on FOX 10, Ben henderson heard from president Dana White that the result would not guarantee him a title shot against Anthony Pettis. Now, after the most recent update to the official Ultimate rankings, Bendo still dropped three positions in the weight-for-weight list.

Former lightweight champion, Ben henderson occupied ninth place in the organization's overall ranking, even above the holder of the women's bantamweight category belt Ronda Rousey. After last Saturday's result (25), however, Henderson was not well evaluated by the journalists responsible for the list votes and ended up falling to 12th position. For other victorious athletes at UFC on FOX 10, however, the result obtained in Chicago (USA) represented a rise in the official Ultimate rankings.
