After controversial victory, Ben Henderson falls in the UFC pound-for-pound ranking

Lightweight lost three positions and is now 12th; Miocic gains a place after victory over Napão

A victory certainly always brings benefits to the athlete who wins it. However, in certain circumstances, this concept ends up being relativized. After the controversial triumph over Josh thomson in the main fight of UFC on FOX 10, Ben henderson heard from president Dana White that the result would not guarantee him a title shot against Anthony Pettis. Now, after the most recent update to the official Ultimate rankings, Bendo still dropped three positions in the weight-for-weight list.

Former lightweight champion, Ben henderson occupied ninth place in the organization's overall ranking, even above the holder of the women's bantamweight category belt Ronda Rousey. After last Saturday's result (25), however, Henderson was not well evaluated by the journalists responsible for the list votes and ended up falling to 12th position. With the fall of Bendo, Ronda Rousey, John hendricks e Vitor belfort they gained one place each.

For other victorious athletes at UFC on FOX 10, however, the result obtained in Chicago (USA) represented a rise in the official Ultimate rankings. After achieving his third consecutive victory, beating Darren Elkins, Jeremy Stephens debuted on the featherweight list in tenth position. Already Stipe Miocic, executioner of the Brazilian Gabriel Napao On the night, he moved up one place and is now seventh among the heavyweights.
