Sonnen teases Wand: 'Everything about him is real except PRIDE'

After exchanging barbs with Wanderlei Silva by the Twitter in the last days, Chael Sonnen used his position as a TV anchor to provoke the Brazilian. In São Paulo for the recordings of TUF Brasil 3, Sonnen did not participate in the “UFC Tonight” panel, the organization's official newspaper, but sent a message needling Wand that was reproduced on the program, shown this Wednesday (22) in the United States .

"It's real. Everything about the Wand is real. Well, except for his eyebrows, forehead and PRIDE,” Sonnen said. The loudmouth makes reference to plastic surgery that Wanderlei underwent in 2010, for repairs to the nose and above the eyes. Furthermore, Chael once again suggested that Wand's fights at PRIDE were staged, something he has insistently repeated since the rivalry between them intensified.

Wanderlei Silva e Chael Sonnen are the technicians of the third edition of the reality show The Ultimate Fighter Brazil, which is currently being recorded in São Paulo. At the end of the show's airing on TV, Wand and Sonnen will finally meet in the octagon, in the coaches' challenge, in an event with no set date or place yet.
