St. Pierre beats Hendricks again, now in election for video game cover

Canadian now faces Anthony Pettis; on the other side, Sonnen competes for public preference with Gustafsson

The last few days have not been easy for John hendricks in disputes against Georges St Pierre. Last Saturday (16), in a controversial decision, the North American was defeated by the Canadian at UFC 167 – in a fight valid for the welterweight belt. This Monday (18), without any type of controversy, GSP surpassed Hendricks in the second phase of the election for the cover of the game “EA Sports UFC”.

Voting, carried out online, decides who will accompany the light heavyweight champion Jon Jones in the image on the cover of the game, which will be released in 2014. Coincidentally, the champion and the challenger ended up facing each other in the election, after overcoming Chris Weidman e Dominick Cruz, respectively, in the previous phase.

The only Brazilian still left in the dispute, José Aldo ended up defeated by Anthony Pettis, who now face St. Pierre in the semifinal stage. On the other side of the key, Chael Sonnen overcame Michael Bisping e Alexander Gustafson passed by Miesha Tate. The North American and the Swede are now competing for public preference. The current stage of the election runs until November 24th.
