Who got used to the provocative profile of Chael Sonnen was surprised by the mild tone adopted by the North American after the defeat to Rashad evans at UFC 167. At the event's press conference, Sonnen admitted that he was unquestionably defeated by Evans, who is his friend and companion on Ultimate shows on North American TV.
“I was crushed (by him). When I was in that position (underneath the opponent), I had nowhere to go. I tried to get out, but he hit me too hard. And he did it again, and again. I had a few moments, but once again he came out on top. I couldn’t get out,” said the loudmouth.
Last Saturday (16), Rashad evans won Chael Sonnen by technical knockout in the first round of the co-main fight of UFC 167, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main event of the night, welterweight champion Georges St Pierre retained his title by beating John hendricks by split decision of the judges.
