Anyone who thinks that is mistaken Wanderlei Silva is the only Brazilian target of Chael Sonnen. After a press conference in Las Vegas (USA), this Thursday (14), the North American directed his criticism again towards Vitor belfort, by whom he was already challenged a few months ago. Sonnen spoke mainly of the religious discourse adopted by the “Phenomenon”.

"I do not like him. I don't fall for this trick. I'm not bringing Jesus into the octagon and acting like he's helping beat another man and put him to sleep. I don't fall for this pile of hypocrisy. Plus he fought some of my friends and hurt some of them. There’s also a revenge factor,” said Sonnen, a training partner of Dan Henderson, Belfort’s last victim, in an interview with the “MMA Weekly” website.

Despite the criticism, the loudmouth also recognized Belfort's good phase, which comes from three consecutive knockout victories – over Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold e Dan Henderson. “I hadn't been 'crazy' about Vitor's fights for a considerable time. But I recognize how good he is. I recognize how dangerous, experienced and explosive he is,” concluded Sonnen.

This Saturday (16), in Las Vegas (USA), Chael Sonnen does, against Rashad evans, the co-main fight of UFC 167, an event that marks the 20th anniversary of the main MMA organization on the planet.
