The dance trend seems to have arrived from the UFC. After South Korean Dong Hyun Kim danced the hit song 'Kuduro' at the open training session at UFC Fight Night 29, last Wednesday (07), this afternoon (08) it was time to Renan Barao show your rhythm.
During the question and answer session with fans in Barueri, Barão was asked about the celebration after the victory over Eddie Wineland at UFC 165. Renan said it was a dance done by a teammate at Nova União and assured that it was a moment of relaxation.
“This is a dance that (Edimael) Marmota does at Nova União and I decided to do it again to relax a little after the fight,” he said. Soon after, Barão responded to the fans' request and showed off his swing. “People are asking for it, so it has to be done”, added Renan, already starting the dance to his companion’s laughter. José Aldo, who was also at the session.
“I don’t know how it’s going to turn out, but I’m going to try my best,” joked the interim bantamweight champion. Watch how he performed Renan Barao dancing.
