Marvin vettori have a difficult relationship and make a point of provoking Paulo borrachinha whenever you can. But now the situation seems to have changed. In an interview with the channel 'Helen yee', the Italian bets on the Brazilian's victory over Luke Rockhold, in a combat that takes place on August 20th.

“I see Rockhold losing his remaining brain parts and sleeping for a few minutes. These are two guys who don't have high morale right now, so the fight makes sense. I knew that time would pass and he (Borrachinha) would have promised the UFC that he would do (one more fight at) 84kg. again, this time taking it seriously. I've heard it weighs 114kg. to go down to 84kg. He has already done it and, if he takes it seriously, he will do it again”, declared Vettori.
Borrachinha comes from a defeat against Vettori, in a fight that took place in UFC Las Vegas October 41, 2021. The fight, in fact, was marked by the 'war' of words between the athletes that intensified after the Brazilian was unable to make weight at middleweight (up to 83,9kg.) and needed to adjust the situation to perform in combined weight.
Rockhold, in turn, returns from retirement. The North American is trying to get back on track with victories and, before hanging up his gloves, he was going through a tough sequence of three knockouts suffered in his last four fights. It is worth remembering, however, that he reigned in the category from December 2015 to June 2016.
