After another victory at Bellator, Cris Cyborg opens the door to compete in boxing

Brazilian reveals dream of testing herself in the 'noble art' and says she spoke to agents about the possibility

Excited about the striking in the clash against Arlene Blencowe in the main fight of the Bellator 279 last Saturday (23), Chris Cyborg he innovated when talking about his desire for the next fight. Asked about the subject in a post-event press conference, the Brazilian revealed her desire to test herself in boxing and admits that she has already spoken about the possibility with nearby agents.

“My next fight should be boxing. It's one of my big dreams and maybe that will happen in the next (fight). I will continue working hard. I don't know who my next opponent will be. I’ve even spoken to my agents about it,” said Cyborg.

Cris also spoke about the possibility of a match against the undefeated judoka, Kayla harrison, who is the PFL lightweight champion (up to 70,3kg). According to the champion, she wants to measure her strength against athletes who make their fans excited, looking for big fights in their career.

“People ask me about the possibility of facing Kayla harrison and I want something that my fans will have fun with,” he concluded.

Cyborg, 36, bases his game on his feet. In her career, she now has 26 triumphs, 20 of which ended by knockout. Professional since 2005, the featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) has only two setbacks in her professional MMA career.
