The Nevada State Athletic Commission announced the medical suspensions of fighters who participated in UFC 92, which took place last Saturday in Las Vegas. Of the 20 fighters in action, 11 will have to stay still for a while, check it out:
Forrest griffin – suspended until February 12th and without training until January 28th. You will also have to consult an orthopedic doctor or you will be out of competitions until June 27, 2009
Mustafa Al-Turk – suspended until February 27th and without training until February 12th due to a broken nose. He must also see a doctor to have his nose, ears and throat analyzed or he will be out until June 27, 2009.
Antonio Rodrigo “Minotauro” Nogueira – suspended until February 27th and no contact until February 12th.
Mike massenzio – suspended until January 28th and without training until January 19th.
Wanderlei Silva – suspended until February 27th and without training until February 12th.
Mike wessel – suspended until February 12th and without training until January 28th.
Matt hamill – suspended until February 12th and without training until January 28th due to a cut over his left eye.
Andy Reese – suspended until February 27th and without training until February 12th. You will need to undergo a computed tomography scan of your face for a possible orbital fracture. Requires authorization from a doctor or will be suspended until June 27th.
Brad blackburn – suspended until February 12th and without training until January 28th.
Dan evensen – suspended until January 28th and without training until January 19th. He needs to be cleared by an orthopedist for an injury to his left knee or he won't fight until June 27th.
Patrick barry – suspended until January 28th and without training until January 19th due to an injury to his right elbow.
