Curtis Blaydes earns 'Performance of the Night' bonus after knockout at UFC Columbus

The North American beat Chris Daukaus in the main fight of the night and pocketed another US$50 (around R$237)

The overwhelming knockout of Curtis blaydes about Chris Daukas in the main fight of ufc columbus, an event held this Saturday (26), in Ohio (USA), won the 'Performance of the Night' award and, as a bonus, earned the North American a bonus of US$ 50 thousand (around R$ 237 thousand, in current quote).

In the last fight on the card, Blaydes landed a direct encounter against Daukaus, who already fell bewildered. The North American, in a post-fight interview, still in the Octagon, asked for a chance at the interim heavyweight belt (up to 120,2kg) against Cyryl Gane.

Furthermore, he scored his second consecutive victory and should move up in the division rankings, where he occupies fourth place.

In addition to Curtis, three other athletes received bonuses for their performances on the card. Veterans Bryan Barbarena and Matt Brown celebrate 'Fight of the Night' after a duel that ended with a standing ovation from the audience, while Chris Gutierrez was also honored for his performance with a brutal knockout via thrown punch in front of Danaa Batgerel.
