“I had a good amount of preparation time since my last fight, without any injuries, which is very important, as I managed to stay active all this time, training and looking to improve. I'm ready to look for another victory. I had an excellent camp, with many training partners who brought out the best in me. It’s like I say, I was beaten a lot in the gym to be able to perform on fight day”, said Nicolau.

The flyweight praised his opponent's qualities and admitted that this is the type of challenge he wants to find in the organization.

“Dvorak is a great opponent, he's on a very good winning streak, and it's a great opportunity for me to end his streak. He's a very complete guy, he has a solid game. I think one of his main points is that he knows how to fight, he makes very few mistakes. It's going to be a big challenge, but it's the kind of challenge I want to test myself, evolve and get me ready to take bigger steps and reach the top of the category strong”, said Matheus.
