Just over two months after the defeat to Julianna Pena, Amanda nunes you already know what was the ‘key point’ that marked the beginning of its downfall. In an interview with 'MMA News' the former bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) revealed that she suffered a hard blow at the beginning of the second round and that after that, she was unable to recover in the fight.

“I got caught at the beginning of the second round. I don't know what the blow was, but to me it felt like a overhand. It caught me behind the left ear. And that was the end. I couldn't recover after that. I told Nina (Nunes) that I felt dizzy, because I had never been caught before. If you were asking me how someone who gets caught feels, I would never have answered because I've never been caught before. So when I got caught, I lost everything. I lost my balance, my vision got a little blurry too and from that moment on, everything went downhill,” said Amanda.

Julianna submitted Amanda in the second round, dethroning the greatest fighter in the history of women's MMA and taking home the bantamweight belt. The rematch between the two athletes is already underway. The North American and the Brazilian will lead the thirtieth edition of the reality show 'The Ultimate Fighter' and are expected to face each other at the end of the program.
