Biggest name in Bellator history, Patrick Pitbull he was open to a super boxing fight against Acelino Popó Freitas. After the success of the Bahian in the clash against Whindersson Nunes, the former MMA world champion criticized the Brazilian legend in the 'noble art' for the challenges he faced José Aldo e Wanderlei Silva. In an interview with 'Portal do Vale Tudo', the native of Rio Grande do Norte spoke about his interest in the clash.

“Perhaps the organization of José Aldo (UFC) don't allow him to have this duel. I saw that there was a moment when he (Aldo) asked for it to be a kickboxing duel. In his role as advisor, Patrício highlighted that he admires Popó's achievements as an idol of Brazilian sports. Pitbull, however, points out that the boxer is seeking the wrong path.
