Unstoppable at 43 years old, Andrei Arlovski is ready for another commitment with the Ultimate gloves. Former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2kg.) in the company, the veteran is one of the highlights of the UFC 271, which takes place this Saturday (12). Opponent of Jared Vanderaa, the combatant decided to warn his rival, assuming that, due to his age, he might look down on him.

“Vanderaa may think that I don't have any more gas left in my tank, but believe me: at 43, I work and train more than I did when I was 20. So, I'm very excited,” said the athlete, speaking to the press at ' media day'.
A professional in MMA since 2000, Arlovski cannot hide his joy at continuing to compete at a high level after more than 20 years of career. The fighter then made a brief statement about his longevity.
“I'm a lucky person to do what I love. My wife and family let me do this. I love fighting and, more than that, I like training hard”, he concluded.
This weekend, Arlovski will reach the impressive milestone of 55 appearances in mixed martial arts. Today, the veteran has 32 wins, five defeats and two 'no result' matches.
