Dethroned in the UFC heavyweight division (up to 120,2kg) almost a year ago, Stipe Miocic could bring a big surprise in his possible return to action. Second Chael Sonnen, the former champion of the organization will return with a new physical constitution, different from the weight presented in the fateful defeat against Francis Ngannou. The information was disseminated on social media.

“I have privileged information. I assure you, it is unprecedented. You must have heard Stipe Miocic say, after the defeat to Francis Ngannou, which would add about 10kg. of muscle mass, right? 10kg. of muscles is a very different Stipe. I just spoke to your wife. Stipe weighs 112,9kg.”, said Sonnen, in his profile on Twitter.
Brutalized by the current heavyweight champion in UFC 260, Miocic hasn't stepped into the Octagon since the stumble. The veteran's name, however, was once again in the news. Ngannou confirmed that he will need to undergo knee surgery, which could leave him out of action for the remainder of the season.
With Francis at the 'shipyard', he was mentioned in a hypothetical clash against Jon Jones for the interim heavyweight belt. Himself 'Bones' used social media a few days ago to propose the challenge.
It is not yet known what Ultimate's position will be in dealing with Ngannou's absence. Stipe's trajectory in MMA, however, could favor the fighter to return for a title fight.
