“We're looking to make a fight in the 'Metaverse.' We've been working on this for some time. It will be a live, real fight that takes place within the metaverse. You put on your glasses, you can get up and walk. We are still working and it will happen soon. It’s going to be a real fight,” said Dana.

Quoted by Dana White, the 'Metaverse' covers the 3D technological world, which can be accessed through a VR headset – Virtual Reality that creates the feeling of 'presence' in a real environment. The aim is to make the community feel like they are in the arena for their respective Ultimate fights.

The organization, however, has not yet formally announced what fights would be available in the new 'Metaverse'. On the other hand, interest is imminent and there is a tendency for the technology to be adopted in the future.
