“I was invited to play a character in the series and I had to jump in head first. Dubbing is my thing. I'm good at different accents, tones, languages. I'm a man of the people. It was my first attempt, with my foot in the door,” said Adesanya.
With a distinctive style inside the octagon, Adesanya has never hidden his taste for anime. It is common for fighters to take character references to MMA.
“I feel like I have a responsibility for the growth of anime within sports in recent times. Expressed authentically. Those who know anime say: 'he's a real ninja”, he concluded.
'Baki Hanma' is available on 'Netflix'. The series currently has one season and 12 episodes.
Outside of the dubbing business, Israel is preparing for a new commitment in Ultimate. On February 12, the Nigerian has a rematch scheduled against Robert whittaker, former middleweight champion, dethroned by Adesanya himself, in October 2019.
