First friendship, then nationality. North American training partner Dustin poirier in the 'American Top Team', the bantamweight champion (up to 61,2kg) made no secret of the fact that she will support the 'Diamond' in the duel against charles do brox, which happens in the UFC 269 next Saturday (11). “There’s a friendship I’ve had for years with Dustin. Charles is Brazilian, but my relationship with Dustin is much greater. In addition to being my training partner, he is a guy we talk to, who is with us every day. My fans, unfortunately, will be for Dustin. But it will be a struggle! The two athletes will certainly be very well prepared. Charles is a great champion, a guy who is a phenomenon, very good at what he does. And I expect a great fight, which it will definitely be”, said Amanda.

Friends and training companions, Amanda and Poirier will be protagonists of the UFC 269, however, in different positions. The 'Lione' will defend her bantamweight title for the sixth time against Juliana Peña. 'Diamante' will have his second opportunity in his career to win the lightweight title (up to 70,3kg). Defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov in 2020, Dustin will try to dethrone the Brazilian charles do brox.
