The Brazilian Thiago Pitbull would face Matt Brown in the first edition of the UFC On FOX Sports series, but a new injury tormented him again. The North American Mike pyle will replace the Ceará native in the fight.

Pitbull hasn't fought since March 2012, when he was submitted by Martin Kampmann in Australia. He would return in July, at UFC 149, but was injured and had to withdraw from his commitment. After recovering, Thiago intended to make a triumphant return at the Boston event and will now have to undergo another rehabilitation.
